Casa Simon
THE HOUSE
This large, traditional village house
was once part of Conchar’s ‘posada’ (village
inn). Imaginatively and sympathetically renovated it offers
a unique opportunity to acquire a substantial property with
masses of potential.
The current owners purchased the property three years ago
when it was a collection of buildings in a very dilapidated
state. Since then they have worked tirelessly to make a house
which is interesting in its layout and accommodation. The
house now benefits from the comforts of a modern home yet
still retains some of its original features. Traditional,
rustic materials have been used in the renovation and all
replacement carpentry is handmade. Glazed, terracotta-coloured
floor tiles throughout.
The current accommodation briefly comprises:
Entrance Hall
Through Dining/Sitting Room
Study
Sewing Room
Kitchen
Utility Room
Log Store
Six Bedrooms
Three Bathrooms
Two Internal Patios one with pool
Covered Terrace
This is a wonderful property for a large family or anyone
who enjoys entertaining and having guests to stay. However,
the house has the potential to make a bed and breakfast
or self-catering holiday business.
The layout of the house means that once inside it is very
peaceful and quite. It has been cleverly designed to allow
light into each living space. This is a sunny house with
a very comfortable feel.
SITUATION
Casa Simon, in the peaceful village of
Cónchar, is
situated very close to orange groves and has spectacular

and there is plenty of parking. The plaza, the three village
bars and the bakery are all within a couple of minutes walk.
The immediate area has many lovely walks and is ideal for
mountain biking.
